2016 Oxbow Lake Association Annual Meeting
July 9, 2016 at the Presque Isle Community Center

1. Jim Zientek.  2015 minutes offered online for review
2. Paul Cieslak. Financial report.
3. Otto Novak….lake study accepted by DNR
   harder to get money for studies…but adopt-a-shore has become instrumental for future requests
4. Paul C.  Oxbow lake fishing report…lake remains consistent
5. Stewart W…one baby eagle present in nest…one baby loon reported on west end
6. It was again noted….”the Oxbow Lake Association” is NOT in a position….in anyway…to “police the lake”….so..if any lake resident feels that there is any activity on the lake that concerns them….they should contact the Presque Isle Town Board …. And NOT the Oxbow lake Association…or contact the Town Constable directly!
7. Jeff K.  Update on 501 C-3… Application is being processed but it may take some time.
8. Paul C. proposed slate of new board officers…unanimously accepted.

9. Lifetime Achievement award…Jeff Kenkel
10. Stuart W. ……suggested having a lottery for guessing when a fish crib would sink at “ice out”. He will be in charge of running it.   (Details to follow)
11. Adjourned at 11:30. (20 people in attendance). Coffee and donuts and bars…served after.
